THE PRODUCT - SENIORS AT HOME

There are two things that are critical here: transparency for the senior and communication for the caregiver(s).

  • The resident, typically a senior, wants to enjoy life in his/her home the way they always have. They don’t want to be encumbered by anything, particularly some kind of technology which they do not understand. Because of this, we feel that it is imperative that our solution be transparent to the senior, being as low-profile as possible and requiring no interaction whatsoever (with the exception of reminders, if desired).

  • On the other hand, caregivers do need interaction. Further, system data must be both pushed to them at the appropriate times and pulled by them when the need arises. The system must be robust and infallible when it comes to issuing alerts at the proper time. The web interface must be extremely simple and easy to use. The web interface will essentially be the face of the product.

The system will be comprised of a starter kit with a small amount of sensors that can be added to as needed. Everything will be wireless and installation by an experienced technician should take no more than 1-2 hours maximum.

  • A Fall Sensor to detect if the resident has taken a fall
  • The Garage Door so we can know if it’s been left open
